db digital: Is, to put it quite simply, me - A forty-something commercial photographer, turned independent freelance designer. This doesn't mean your site will be limited by my talents alone. While I'm a do-it-yourselfer, I know my limits. When they're reached I rely on a constantly changing network freelance artists, designers, writers, photographers and most importantly, genuine computer geeks. People with the talent, knowledge and skills that are best suited to accomplish your specific goals.

Philosophy: Design for the largest common denominator of your target audience. Why turn away 15% of potential viewers still using 3.0 browsers with your first page? Sites can be designed so visitors without latest versions of browsers and plug-ins are fed pages they can see. I build clean, logically designed, easily navigated sites. If your goal is to wow 85% of potential visitors with the bleeding edge of technology, at least allow access to the rest and what their outdated software is capable of showing. That, by the way, is also the perfect way to help search engines find relevant pages to index. Search engine ranking is after all, crucial in making your site a success.

History: My interest in web site design began in 1996 when, in a simple effort to get my feet wet, I did my first site. I fell in love and took the plunge by going into business for myself. Five years later I've no regrets, although I'm getting a little pruny.
